For Victorian Members Only

Under the Union Collective Agreement Monday 27 April 2009 is a transferred Public Holiday.

Under the PlumbingTrades (Southern States) Construction Award 1999 and the Clerical and Administrative Employees (Victoria) Award 1999 Saturday 25 April 2009 is the Public Holiday.

Victorians will receive a substitute public holiday for ANZAC Day in 2010 and 2011, following a Council for the Australian Federation (CAF) agreement to increase harmonisation of all Australian states and territories’ approach to ANZAC Day.  The substitute days will be Monday 26 April in 2010 and Tuesday 26 April in 2011 when ANZAC Day actually coincides with the Easter Monday public holiday.

However, in Victoria this year there is no substitute day for ANZAC Day, which falls on a Saturday unless outlined in a specific agreement or award.
